The
physics concept being demonstrated is mainly the force of tension on an object.
As the object is hanging from the clothesline gravity is acting on it pulling
it down at a rate of -9.8. However, the reason the object does not full is
because the force of tension is acting on it. The string holding it up is
connected to the clothes hanger that I am holding. Also take note of the slight
bend in the clothes hanger due to the force to object and gravity is exerting
towards the ground.
